I’ve gotten questions from some of you about when Family Tree Maker for Mac would be available, now that Family Tree Maker 2011 for Windows/PCs has launched. Back in May, official word from Ancestry.com was that it be released before the end of 2010. Now it looks like it will be before the end of November, 2010. It makes sense, since that will be before the major holiday season.
Earlier today, an Ancestry.com representative made the following post on one of their blogs:
What is happening with the Mac version of Family Tree Maker?
The Mac version is on schedule to be released within the next two months.
There you have it. That’s still within the time frame that Ancestry.com had established back in May.
