Evernote 3.1.1 Released for Macs

Evernote 3.1.0 and now 3.1.1 have been released. Evernote 3.1.1 is labeled as build 248775, and it’s a very significant release in this popular cross-platform note-taking and journaling software. A lot of genealogists use Evernote – you can access and add to the data on your Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even on other devices, including PCs and Android.

Improvements in Evernote:
– Support for switching between accounts
– New Card View beautifully displays note thumbnails
– Word count and character count added to the note info “i” popup
– MultiSelect view highlights common functionality when selecting multiple notes.
– Redesigned account info screen allows you to:
— Add Evernote email address to Address Book with one click
— Upgrade to Premium any time
– Easily save all attachments from a note or group of notes into a folder on your computer
– New keyboard shortcuts to insert date and time into the note body
– Print notes with header information using the Print screen
– Pressing Return in the search field now re-executes the current search

– Smoother fullscreen animation on Lion

– Improved highlighting accuracy in search results within PDFs
– Fixed a bug when searching for notes by date
– Notes in Trash no longer appear in Spotlight search results
