PAWriter version 101 (Universal) has been released by Howard Metcalfe. PAWriter (PAW2U aka PAWriter II) is a free Mac OS X genealogy application. This is the first update in a while.

– PAWriter was compiled using Real Studio 2011 Release 3 — a technical change only.

Have a question. Will this software real PAF files? We have a large number of family files from my wife’s PAF software which as you know we can’t upgrade. Will we be able to transfer these files into PAW? It is not clear from any documentation I can read on these sites. Thank you.
In PAF, if you use File menu > Export, you can export all your PAF data to a gedcom file that can be imported into PAWII. It only takes maybe 10 minutes.
Converting files from Mac PAF 2.3.1 can usually be done by FamilySearch.org for free. The toll-free number for information is 1-866-406-1830. Ask for Product Support and then ask about the Disk Doctor service.
