Hog Bay Software has released the newest version of Hog Bay Notebook. This has been in beta for several months. Among the changes is a better search engine, as well as several user-requested features.

* iPhoto integration: StickyBrain 3.4 sports a new iPhoto image browser that lets user browse the contents of their iPhoto albums. Users can quickly scroll through thousands of photos (thumbnail size is user adjustable) until they find the photo they’re looking for. Then they can simply drag the photo to any note in StickyBrain. Two major updates/announcements for journaling/outlining/notebook software. Some people use those terms interchangeably, but regardless many genealogists are using these or similar software products in addition to their normal genealogy programs.
Circus Ponies will release version 2.0 of it’s note-taking/organizing software, NoteBook in March for $50. Among the 150 new features, will be the ability to integrate with some Apple iApps/applications as well as the iPod. This will be a free upgrade for 1.2 users.
