EndNote 9 has been released by ResearchSoft - this is a major release for the bibliography tool. EndNotes allows you to search online bibliographic databases, organize references and images, and create instant bibliographies. Using EndNote 9 you can work faster with increased performance, connect to more data sources worldwide, and share customized libraries with colleagues easily.

Some of the new or upgraded features include:

    * Better connectivity to data sources
    * Better performance
    * Spotlight Integration
    * With Microsoft Word X and higher, there is a “cite while you write” mode.

Cost: $330 full, $100 upgrade, $;110 student.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.6

BookKeeper 2.0b12 was released.

BookKeeper is a citation tool for writing papers. It currently formats bibliographies and endnotes in the MLA style and also formats outlines. Additional styles are available as plug-ins. All you supply is the information, and BookKeeper will add in the punctuation and other details.

This releases contains interface improvements, and adds APA Plugins.
