As mentioned back in August, Battery Park Software was working on a Mac OS X version of GedWise (MobileGenealogy.com). GedWise is a Palm OS based genealogy database/application, for carrying your genealogy information in an easy-to-browse format.
Good news, it looks like there might be a public beta test of MacPAF by the end of the year.
Gedcom2Geneweb 1.4 has been released.
This application allows you to convert a GEDCOM File and produce a new file suitable for any Geneweb application. It has been tested on GEDCOM files issued from Reunion 8.x for MacOS X, GEditCOM 3.x and Heredis X.
Personal Ancestry Writer II (PAWriter II) version 47, was updated earlier this week.
MacFamilyTree 4.2.2 is now available. One of the biggest changes is to the information window for person-related data. Improvements were made to the pedigree charts as well as status for LDS-events. It can be downloaded here.
Sandy Knoll Software’s Metes and Bounds 1.3 for Mac OS X 10.1.5+, is now available. Metes and Bounds is basically a land mapping applications that turns metes and bounds data into a plot map. Genealogists might be able to us it for plotting cemeteries, homesteads, etc.
