Journler 0.98 was released.
Journler is a daily notebook. The program provides an elegant, effective outlet for your thoughts. At the same time, the program helps you connect those thoughts with the source of their inspiration. By combining a richness of text and media technology, Journler allows you to add writing to your digital life without losing sight of other media.
Journler aims to be the premier journaling program for the Macintosh. It is designed to make the development and organization of your thoughts as enjoyable and effective as possible.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.0+
Audio Entries: Any audio input device, ie microphone
iTunes Integration: Tested with 4.7 & 4.8, likely 4.0 or better
iPhoto Integration: 4.0.x.
Journler is nearing completion. The next update (0.9.9) will include two major changes. First, the blog center’s code will be cleaned up and improved. Second, help files will be completed. A general tidying of the application’s code will also take place, along with fixes for whatever small bugs I encounter along the way.
Changes between 0.9.9 and 1.0 will focus on three areas. There continue to be a few stray bugs that are causing crash problems for a small number of users. I have so far been unable to locate the cause of these problems, but I will continue working on finding a solution. I will also address any bug reports I receive from users. Last, I will run first hand tests on Tiger, which I plan on receiving very soon.
